"Citizen M"

Philips is working on a fully customizable hotel concept that is designed to provide the services the consumer needs and enable the hotel operator to optimize their cost. The first implementation is scheduled to open at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam in early 2008 and is called "CitizenM Hotel" since it is created for the "Mobile Citizen".

The basic idea is that Philips will deliver pre-fabricated rooms that contain all the amenities and can be installed onsite. The rooms will provide the guest a "Moodpad" which controls the room's lighting and everything. Besides the fact that the size looks like a room in Tokyo, it looks cool and very high-tech.
